This FREE 2-day workshop aims to provide information and education for Primary Health Care staff, that will support the delivery of ear health care – with a particular focus on identification and management of early-stage disease. Sessions will cover many of the elements considered essential to providing effective ear health care at the primary level such as clinical knowledge of ear health and disease; CQI activity ideas; developments in tools and resources and more. It is anticipated that participants will come away with skills, knowledge and ideas that can support their service capacity to deliver effective ear health care.

This workshop is suitable for: Clinical Staff and Managers, Program Managers, Child Health Workers, CQI Coordinators, Aboriginal Health Practitioners, Health Workers - anyone working in Primary Health Care services in the NT.

Cost: There is no cost to attend this workshop.
Travel and accommodation: The booking of flights, travel and accommodation is the responsibility of the participant or their organisation. We recommend workshop participants book accommodation as soon as possible.
AMSANT have held a limited number of rooms with a discounted rate at the Hilton Hotel, 32 Mitchell St, Darwin between Wednesday 17th and Saturday 20th May for workshop attendees. Further details will be provided upon confirmation of attendance.
Parking: Ticketless parking is available at the venue using the multi-storey car park on Kitchener Drive. All day paid parking passes will be provided at the end of each day of the workshop. You will need to note your car registration number at the registration desk each day.
Reimbursement: AMSANT will subsidise travel and/or accommodation costs up to $500 per person for Primary Health Care staff employed by an NT Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service. Reimbursements will be paid upon receipt of a tax invoice and supporting documentation after the workshop.
Travel Allowance: Travel allowance is the responsibility of your health service.

Morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea will be provided on both days. Special dietary requirements will be addressed.
No, an electronic copy of your registration will be recorded. There will be a sign in sheet available upon your arrival each day.
AMSANT will be reimbursing services up to $500 per person after the workshop. You will need to provide an invoice and supporting documentation to Crystal (crystal.o'connell@amsant.org.au) for processing. Instructions will also be sent out to all registered guests post-workshop.
